what makes life worth living..

“being happy with yourself.. …probably the most difficult challenge in life”

my food philosophy

We all have wants when it comes to eating, and then we have our needs. And most of the time our favorite foods don’t fit into our needs category. But what if we could find a middle ground. Something delicious, healthy, and satifying. Is it possible? Maybe not right away. There are no quick fixes when it comes to our health. With so many different choices of foods out there, we really need to teach ourselves how to eat. Or at least how to eat right for us. Just because your best friend has lost 15 lbs just eating egg whites and raw vegetables doesn’t mean it is right for you. Why do we need to give up what we love, to be healthy. I mean really, I LOVE food. Everyone should. Its one of the many pleasure of life. But what its really about is finding whats right for you.

To give you a perspective, I am what I like to think of as a normal person. Im 5’2 110 lbs. And I have been so fortunate in my life so far to never have had a weight issue. But that does not mean I havent had problems with my food. I used to eat what ever I wanted. And though it never really showed on the outside, Inside I was lethargic, cranky, lazy. I had little motivation to go excersise. Maybe I ran once every 4 months. But this all changed once I changed what I ate…
